Body Barre Fitness one hour classes - is a comprehensive total body workout that lifts your seat, tones your thighs, abs and arms, and burns fat in record-breaking time. While primarily working those muscles, we always maintain core stability and whole body alignment, making every exercise a full body exercise. Barre is a great way to tone muscles and burn calories. Muscles are worked to the point of fatigue and then released through stretching movements to create long, lean muscles.
Barre classes are for all levels of students and are not dance classes. The ballet barre is used for stability while working through pilates based exercises. Movements are typically small and easy on the joints. Taking barre classes will increase strength and flexibility. The classes are set to upbeat music and are challenging, fun and fresh.
Intro to Barre Class - this class is for the beginner barre student. We will take time to break down the combinations and technique in the class. It is the same great barre workout at a slower pace. This class will increase strength and flexibility.
Body Barre Fitness 50 minute classes - are the same amazing workout of a one hour class. The 50 minute classes have less stretching and more get up and go! These classes are for the busy individual who would like to get in a good lunch time workout. Our goal is to help you get in your Barre workout and back to your busy day!
Mommy & Me - This class is designed for new moms and their babies. Babies must be six weeks to seven months old (non-mobile babies). We will focus on integrating your baby into a fun Barre workout! The class will improve balance, strengthen muscles and improve fatigue. We will focus on postpartum areas, body image and body awareness. This class is for beginners, as well as fitness enthusiasts. Please bring a baby carrier or sling, your babies favorite toy and a receiving blanket.
